X-ray radiography is the only non-destructive testing technique
(besides ultrosonics) that allows for the detection of defects deep
within a part. X-rays are generated with an x-ray tube and they pass
through the part being inspected and detected by a piece of film. Any
defects or abnormalites within a part is captured on the film.
Typical applications of this technique include:
  • Printed Circuit Board
  • Castings
  • Plastic Injection Molding
  • Automotive Parts
  • Aerospace Components
  • Electrical/Mechanical Components
  • Medical Devices
